The state has a projected multi-billion dollar surplus. Meanwhile, our property taxes keep going up because Madison won't properly fund rural schools. That's backwards.
I'll work to:
Fix the school funding formula so local property owners aren't footing the bill
Increase funding to County and local governments.
Make property tax bills predictable and understandable

Our lakes aren't just beautiful—they're our economy. Tourism, fishing, boating, resorts, local businesses—all of it depends on clean water.
I'll work to:
Stop mining in the Northwoods: reinstate prove it first legislation
Protect water quality standards and have limits on wake boating activities. With local governments able to be more restrictive.
Support responsible development that doesn't threaten our natural resources
Moratorium on AI Data Centers, until legislation can be passed that protects our environment, local residents and allow for final approval by local governments.

You shouldn't have to drive 45 minutes to see a doctor. You shouldn't have to choose between filling a prescription and buying groceries.
I'll work to:
Expand Badgercare
Provide an affordable public option for businesses, school districts and individuals to buy into.
Recruit and retain healthcare providers in northern Wisconsin
Support our volunteer EMS and first responders
Recruit and provide incentives for PAs and NPs to be the first level of healthcare service in rural areas.

I'm not running because I love politics. I don't.
I'm running because I love this community, and I've spent 31 years proving it. I've raised my family here, served on the school board through good times and tough times, worked alongside people in this district, and listened to what people are experiencing.
The Northwoods isn't Madison. We have different challenges, different priorities, and different values. We need someone who understands that. Someone who's actually here, year-round, paying the same property taxes, dealing with the same issues, and working for the same things you are.
That's what I'll do.
This campaign isn't about me. It's about making sure you have a voice in Madison that actually listens and works for what matters to year-round residents.
I will stand up for the Constitution and the Rule of Law.
I will protect our lakes and environment. Count on me to pass a bill to regulate wake boats and include the ability of local govenments to be more restrictive.
I will make sure that our school funding formula is fixed and we are able to properly educate our children and grandchildren.
I will vote to overturn Right to work.
I will vote to end the school voucher system.
I will support ALL workers being able to unionize.
I will vote to reinstitute the Prove it First mining bill.
I will vote to tax the wealthy and large corporations.
I will work to make housing, daycare and health insurance more affordable.
I will vote to raise the minimum wage.
I will vote for a moratorium on data centers.
I will legalize marijuana, and bring home to Wisconsin the tax money that is currently being given to our neighboring states.
I will remember that I work for you and not the Billionaires and the large corporations.
